PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lifting/lowering operation of a pair of inner and outer curtains securely and easily at one end side of a supporting bar, in an apparatus for lifting/lowering the double curtains, which are provided with the inner and the outer liftable/lowerable curtains. SOLUTION: Each upper fringe section of the inner and the outer curtains 6, 7 is attached to the supporting bar 5 and lifting/lowering movement of the curtains 6, 7 is operated through the lifting/lowering operation of a lifting/ lowering cord 9. The lifting/lowering cord 9 is passed from top to bottom through cord passage portions 50 which are provided in the vertical direction on the back face section of the inner curtain 6, is extended upward by way of a lower guide portion 51 which is provided on a lower end side of the inner curtain 6, and is passed through an upper guide portion 41 provided on the supporting bar 5. Then, the cord is passed from top to bottom through the cord passage potions 50 which are provided in the vertical direction in the back face section of the outer curtain 7, and the extremity section of the cord is fixed to a lower end side of the outer curtain. The inner and the outer curtains 6, 9 can be lifted/lowered by winding up the lifting/lowering cord 9 on the proximity end side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
