PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate or determine a period for collecting objective viral liquid without taking out a culturing liquid for a test in a production process by inoculating the virus to cultured cells and obtaining the viral liquid of the production of the virus in an industrial scale by using the cell culture. SOLUTION: This method for producing the virus in the industrial scale by the cell culture is characterized by measuring the relationship of the changing state of oxygen or air and viral concentration in a specific system in advance, and determining the collection period of the objective virus by using the oxygen or air consumption as an indicator based on the measured result. The cultured cells are Vero cells, MDCK cells, CHO cells, Hela cells, BHK cells, WI-38 cells or L-cells, and the viruses are Fraviviridae, Orthomyxoviridae, Adenoviridiae, Herpesviridae, Picornaviridae, Paramyxoviridae, Togaviridae or Poxviridae.
