PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter designed to facilitate the maintenance of row clutches functioning to halt seedling planting in part of planting rows. SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter has such a structure that a plurality of seedling tray conveying parts 11 arranged laterally in parallel to each other at intervals and functions to take seedlings out of seedling trays conveyed through the respective paths 11 and plant them in the corresponding planting rows in a farmland. In this seedling transplanter, the row clutches A installed in the transmission mechanism of a seedling planting section in order to halt the seedling planting in part of the planting rows are disposed in a laterally deviated manner relative to the paths 11 when viewed from the top or front, thus ensuring the paths 11 not to constitute a hindrance in the maintenance of the respective clutches A.
