<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide subsidiary brake mechanism which is interlocked with the disengagement operation of a clutch pedal and applies a brake. <P>SOLUTION: A riding type rice transplanter 10 is equipped with a power transmission device 19 for transmitting power from an engine 20 through a clutch 29 to rear wheels 14 and the subsidiary brake mechanism 125 laid at the downstream side of the transmission of the clutch 29 in the power transmission device 19, the clutch pedal 30 is linked to the subsidiary brake mechanism 125 by first connection mechanism 27 so that the subsidiary brake mechanism 125 is operated based on the disengagement operation of the clutch pedal 30. For example, when the clutch pedal 30 is disengaged on a sloping road, braking force is applied to the rear wheels 14.
