PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article weighing and feeding device capable of weighing and feeding articles without spoiling their freshness and impairing their commodity values. SOLUTION: The crops A, etc., transferred by a distributing conveyor 4 are distributed and fed to charging boxes 9 in first and second charging machines 6 and 7. Each charging box 9 is stepwise lowered by a preset descent quantity at a time for each occasion of charging the crops A by a weight equivalent to the weight of a charge, and after the charging box 9, into which the precharge amount of the crops A, etc., is charged, is inserted into a box B, the whole crops A, etc., in the charging box 9 are released inside the box B. The box B, into which the precharge amount of the crops A, etc., is charged, is transferred to a refilling position of a supplementary conveyor 5, and a number of crops A, which are equivalent to an underweight, are charged into the box B.
