PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prohibit a player from using a specific kind of money with a high possibility of fraudulence. SOLUTION: The game device comprises a recording medium processing means for reading recorded information of a game recording medium capable of specifying the game value to be used in a game, a money discrimination means capable of receiving a plural kinds of money for discriminating received money and outputting the information for specifying the kind of the received money, a game value providing means for executing the issuing process and/or value addition process for specifying a prescribed game value in the range of the price corresponding to the kind of the money from the recorded information of the recording medium for games, and a received money kind setting means for setting the kind of money to be provided for the issue process and/or value addition process. The game value providing means determines whether the kind of the received money is the kind of money set to be provided by the received money kind setting means; when the kind of the received money is determined to be the set kind of money, the issuing process and/or value addition process is executed, and when the kind of the received money is determined not to be the set kind, the issuing process and/or value addition process is not executed but the process of returning the received money is executed.
