PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of scissors with the blade of one blade body receding from the side edge on the back side of the other blade body, to be determined not to be a recycled product. SOLUTION: The pair of scissors have the two blade bodies attached to each other with a pivot. When the pair of scissors are closed, the blade of one blade body substantially recedes from the side edge on the back side of the other blade body, and a recess with such a depth as not to reach the blade is formed on the side edge.
