PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a player of information by applying a reaction force to a start lever. SOLUTION: A start lever 6 is provided with a first magnet 70 and a second magnet 74. The second magnet 74 is an electromagnet obtained by winding a coil 76 around an iron core 75. When an electric current is supplied to the coil 76, a great attraction force is effected between the first magnet 70 and the second magnet 74. Thus, when a player inclines a rod 60 by grasping a knob 61, the player feels the great reaction force on his/her hand while the electric current is supplied to the coil 76. Thus, by controlling the electric current to be supplied to the coil 76, the player can be notified of prescribed information. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
