A liquid discharging head and a liquid discharging apparatus are provided to discharge liquid from a liquid chamber by driving energy generating devices in a head chip to apply the ejection force to the liquid inside a liquid chamber. A liquid discharging head comprises a head chip and a common path member. The head chip includes plural energy generating devices for discharging liquid, and a liquid chamber formed adjacent to the energy generating devices. The common path member has common paths(24) in communication with entire liquid chambers inside the head chip. The liquid is discharged from the liquid chamber by driving the energy generating devices to apply the ejection force to the liquid inside the liquid chamber. The common path member includes an inlet(22) through which the liquid is supplied to the common path, and an outlet(23) through which the liquid is discharged from the common path. The common path includes a ceiling surface with a groove extended from the inlet to the outlet.
