A frontloading washing machine for preventing clogging of a liquid detergent channel by automatically cleansing the liquid detergent channel using a cleansing solution after finishing a liquid detergent supply process. A frontloading washing machine comprises a washing tub, at least one liquid detergent storages(48a,48b,48c), and a liquid detergent supply unit. The at least one liquid detergent storages store at least one kind of liquid detergent supplied to the washing tub. The liquid detergent supply unit supplies liquid detergent from the liquid detergent storage to the washing machine. At least a part of an internal channel of the liquid detergent supply unit, through which the liquid detergent passes, is cleansed by a cleansing solution supplied from external after supplying the liquid detergent.
