摘要 An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent horizontal line error by processing differently application positions of an impulsive voltage for every frame. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes matrix typed plural pixels(PX), data and gate lines(D1-Dm,G1-Gn) connected to the pixels, a signal controller(600), a gray scale voltage generator(800), and a data driver(500). The signal controller processes image data from outside and outputs normal image data and impulsive image data. The gray scale voltage generator generates plural gray scale voltages. The data driver selects voltages corresponding to the normal image data and the impulsive image data as data and impulsive voltages, and applies the selected voltages to the data lines. The impulsive voltage is applied at a time based on a pixel column group as a unit. An impulsive voltage apply unit of a first column of a first pixel column group of a frame is different from that of a next frame of the frame.
