PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-wire system data communication apparatus to provide a simplified line structure of an internal IC and assure reduction in size of the IC. SOLUTION: The receiving part 1 of the IC provided within the single-wire system data communication apparatus includes an input terminal 2 to which data signal having a plurality of data corresponding respectively to different pulse widths via the single signal line is inputted, an inverter 3 for inverting data signal inputted from this input terminal 2, a clock timing extracting part 4 for extracting a rise and a fall of the pulse of each data as the clock timing, a data judging part 5 for judging the data among a plurality of data based on the pulse width of data of the data signal outputted from the inverter, and a memory part 6 extracting the data determined in the data judging part 5 by receiving the clock timing outputted from the clock timing extracting part 4.
