PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-feeding device reducing a shock caused by contact, and to provide an image forming apparatus provided with the same. SOLUTION: The sheet-feeding device comprises: a sheet feeding cassette 4 detachable from an apparatus body 2 of copying machine 1; a handle member 62 disposed to a front side surface 50 of the sheet feeding cassette 4 and having a grip portion 64; and an elastic member 70 provided on the front side surface 65 of the grip portion 64, and projected outward from the apparatus body 2 farther than the front side surface 50.
