PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of steam piping, simplify a structure, avoid air leaks and reduce an installation area of a device in regard to a commercial laundry drier delivering or transferring laundry by tilting a drying chamber. SOLUTION: The tilted transfer type laundry drier is provided with a frame 26 for fixing, a drying chamber casing 1 supported on the frame so as to freely tilt, and a heater 14 and fan 15 for dry air. The heater 14 and the fan 15 are fixed and attached to the frame 26 at a position directly above a top face of the drying chamber casing 1. The casing 1 is provided with top face openings 32 and 33 communicated with air passages 28 and 29 of the heater and the fan, and a tilting device 13 lowering and tilting the casing 1. When the casing 1 is raised by the tilting device 13, the air passages 28 and 29 of the heater and the fan are communicated with the top face openings 32 and 33 of the casing in airtight states. Pieces of packing for airtightness are provided in circumferential rim parts of the air passages 28 and 29 and circumferential rims of the top face openings 32 and 33. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
