PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable grater capable of finely or roughly grating by a single device without considering a grating direction. SOLUTION: Grating protrusions 3 are spirally and radially provided. Since the grating protrusions are not provided linearly, grating grooves are not formed and the vegetable can be assuredly grated and cooked by sliding the vegetable without considering the grating direction of the vegetable. When the spaces and the density of the grating protrusions in a vegetable passing area for realizing the grating of the vegetable relative to the grating direction of the vegetable are different between a case in which the vegetable is linearly reciprocated or a case in which the vegetable is moved in a circular way.
