BATTERY HYDRAULIC STEERING CONTROL APPARATUS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A battery hydraulic steering control apparatus is provided to control a power steering at real time by embedding a pressure sensor in a battery hydraulic power steering and applying a current limiting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle operation state detecting part(100) detects a signal varied according to variation of an operating state of an electric vehicle. A control part(200) receives an output of the vehicle operation state detecting part and calculates a consumption pressure ratio according to pressure variation of a reservoir tank and an expectation steering pressure consumption ratio according to vehicle speed and acceleration variation. The control part calculates a minimum requirement pressure ratio to calculate a current remaining pressure of the tank and a calculation value according to a charging efficiency of a motor. The control part determines whether or not of driving of the motor based on the calculation results to output a control signal. A driving part(300) controls the motor for supplying an oil pressure to a power steering in response to the control signal from the control part.
