CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DELAY OF DYNAMIC FOCUS SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A circuit and a method for controlling delay of a dynamic focus signal are provided to control a time delay generated in amplifying the dynamic focus signal of a CRT monitor from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A pulse center detecting circuit(430) generates a center detecting signal detecting pulse center of a first pulse signal in response to the first pulse signal. A first delay control signal generating circuit(440) compares a level of a first comparing signal generated in a linear function type in response to the first pulse signal with a level of a second comparing signal, and generates a first delay control signal having a first or second logic level in response to the result of the comparison. A selecting circuit(450) selects the center detecting signal or the first delay control signal in response to a predetermined selecting signal for generating a second delay control signal controlling delay volume of a dynamic focus signal.
