PURPOSE: A system for giving a toll charge paying service using a mobile communication terminal and a system therefor are provided to easily demand payment for toll charges with call charges of a cellular phone by directly using the mobile communication terminal, thereby implementing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a toll charge paying function in a cellular phone(1) while passing through a tollgate, and connects with at least on base station and a tollgate system(2) having a control system, then transmits a number of the cellular phone(1) and toll charge paying information. The tollgate system(2) or a host computer(60) receives the toll charge paying information to confirm the user, and transmits an approved code or an unapproved code with toll charges to the cellular phone(1). The cellular phone(1) receives the approved code with the toll charges, and transmits an OK signal to the tollgate system(2).
