PURPOSE: A distribution line breaker is provided to be capable of selectively using a current capacity. CONSTITUTION: A rectification part(120) rectifies a part of an input AC power. An electric breaking part(150,160) is driven according to an applied current and selectively breaks a current passing the rectification part. A current sensing part(130) senses a level of a load current which passes an inflow line of a load side of a current passing the electric breaking part. A reference setting part(180) receives the sensed load current to set a reference current proportional to the load current. A comparison and amplification part(200) compares and amplifies the set reference current with the rectified DC current. A breaking sensing part(210) selectively applies an AC power passing the rectification part to the electric breaking part according to a current from the comparison and amplification part or the current sensing part so that an input of the AC power to a load side is broken.
