PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reliable recovery from the regulation conditions in the power generation controller for vehicle which rectifies the output current of a multi-phase AC generator with a rectifying circuit and more regulates the output current to the prescribed voltage with a regulator. SOLUTION: When a battery voltage VB reaches a regulated voltage Vreg at a time t1, each phase is regulated. Thereafter, the phase W is recovered at a time t2 and a phase V is recovered at a time t3. Thereafter, if a current IW of a phase W crosses the value zero at a time t4, reference is made to a current IU of phase U which is preceding a phase W and is not yet recovered, and if this current IU is positive, the phase U is recovered. |
