This invention relates to the area of straight-flow hydro-units with axial water flow through rotor. The straight-flow run-of-river turbine has working wheel with shaft installed on bearings in coaxial straight-flow tubular body. The bearings are installed in turning flanges. The guide apparatus has bell at the inlet end. The ribs at its inner surface form multi-start cone-like spiral, this in the pipe goes to multi-start cylindrical spiral. The spiral pitch of the guiding apparatus gradually increases in direction opposite to water flow. The working wheel is arranged as similar in shape multi-start turned in opposite direction spiral. This has coaxial to the drum grid drum on which spiral ribs are fixed. The spiral of the working wheel is made with the number of the rib starts twice smaller than the number of the spirals of the guide apparatus. This invention promotes increase of power of hydro-turbine.
