A car body welding facility has a structural parts gripper (2) fastened on a robot (1) and a laser welding device (5) for jointing parts. Gripping (4) and positioning (3) devices fit on the structural parts gripper can be operated hydraulically, pneumatically, mechanically or electrically. The structural parts gripper can pick up a bodywork part (6) with the aid of the robot. An Independent claim is also included for a method for jointing structural parts, preferably by punch-riveting them. |
