The proposed cable for a current collector of a noncontact electric locomotive contains a core made of insulating material and three conducting sheaths, which are made of twisted insulated wires and separated by insulating material. The first sheath covers the core, the second sheath covers the first sheath, and the third sheath covers the second sheath. The third sheath is electrically connected to the first sheath at the end of the cable.
