Invention is intended for removal of dust from air and it can be used in different fields of industry. Aerodynamic dust catcher contains vertically located cylinder-conical housing with spiral inlet duct, axial exhaust and dust discharge branch pipes and louver separator of cylindrical form located coaxially to housing. Each louver of separator is formed by three vertical surfaces: external surface turned towards dusty flow, rear and internal surfaces, which in the cross section have following shape: external - part of ellipsis, rear - straight line located perpendicularly to the direction of the motion of dusty mixture, and internal - straight line located perpendicularly to the rear surface of the louver. Technical result at application of the invention consists in the improvement of aerodynamic conditions for apparatus operation, and, as consequence, - in reduction of hydraulic resistance and increase of the effectiveness of dust catcher operation.
