PURPOSE: An apparatus for assembling a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent a substrate fixed to an upper stage from dropping during a vacuuming process for attaching substrates to each other to construct a liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for assembling a liquid crystal display includes a vacuum chamber(110) in which a process of attaching the first and second substrates to each other is carried out, an upper stage for fixing the second substrate, a lower stage(122) for fixing the first substrate, and a substrate support located inside the vacuum chamber. The substrate support moves along loading and unloading directions of the substrates and supports the bottom side of the second substrate. The substrate support is composed of a lifting part for supporting the bottom face of the second substrate, and a moving part for moving the lifting part along the loading/unloading directions of the substrates. |
