PURPOSE: A damping composition for a seating plate of a toilet stool having excellent cushioning ability and restorability is provided to obtain an excellent damping effect and to give a convenience and comfort to the users. CONSTITUTION: The damping composition for a seating plate of a toilet stool comprises 5 to 20 wt% of PVC and 80 to 95 wt% of a plasticizer. The seating plate of a toilet stool comprises a pad(7) formed from the damping composition by means of a mold, a base plate(2) having multiple projections(2a) for preventing the sliding of the pad(7), and a urethane vinyl(8) for wrapping the base plate(2) and the pad(7). The seating plate is produced by the process comprising the steps of: kneading PVC and a plasticizer to obtain a mixture, stirring the mixture in a stirring furnace at the temperature of 200 to 250 deg.C for 20 to 30 minutes to liquefy the mixture, forming the liquefied mixture in a mold into a seating plate of a toilet stool and naturally cooling it, and overlaying the cooled pad on the top of the base plate and then wrapping them with urethane vinyl. |
