PURPOSE: A rotor for a spinning machine is characterized by getting uniform yarn having 10-30's, having excellent hardness and having rough inner side. The rotor is capable of minimizing abrasion and thermal strain, producing yarn having fine hairs and reducing vibration and noise. CONSTITUTION: A rotor for the spinning machine is comprised of: a bottom(4) extended from a steel boss(5); a rotor wall extended from the bottom(4) to an upside and formed a hollow part(7); and a 'V' type fiber collecting groove(2) formed on a border between an upper wall(1) and a lower wall(3). The rotor is characterized by the upper wall(1) leaned inside on proper angle(&thgr;1); and the lower wall(3) leaned above from the bottom(4) on proper angle(&thgr;2). The rotor is obtained by the steps of: fixing one end of a steel rod on a chuck to form the rotor wall, a shaft inserted hole(8) and the hollow part(7); separating the end of the rod, fixing an inside of a rim(6) on an extended chuck and turning the other end of the steel rod to form the boss(5); nickel-plating and heating the rotor; quenching the rotor to harden; and then spraying an abrasive to an inside of the upper wall(1).
