PURPOSE: A method for performing a call test using a CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) message in a PBX is provided to measure performance of the PBX and a load rate as controlling call traffic by a tester, and to measure the performance and the load rate under various call processing circumstances, thereby remarkably increasing efficiency of the call test. CONSTITUTION: A tester selects a testing mode, and selects a start button(S11). A software application starts counting test time(S12), and attempts making a call to a designated device(S13). The application decides whether a deliver event is reported(S14). If so, the application decides whether a preset delay time elapses(S15). If not, the application executes an answer for a call informing of an alarm(S16). The application decides whether an established event is reported(S17). If so, the application decides whether the preset delay time elapses(S18). If not, the application clears the present call(S19), and decides whether a connection cleared event is reported(S20). If so, the application decides whether the preset delay time elapses(S21). If so, the application decides whether the test time is completed(S22). If so, the application completes all call tests.
