PURPOSE: A method for coating syringe needle is provided to glow discharge thus coat inner and outer surfaces of a syringe needle made of stainless steel or synthetic resin such as nylon using titanium and gold or silver electrodes, and a syringe needle coated by the method is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a method for processing a stainless steel or synthetic resin metal syringe needle, the method for coating syringe needle comprises the process of evacuating the coating furnace to inject argon gas and exhaust the argon gas by installing titanium electrodes on inner circumferential surface and outer circumferential surface of coating furnace, and injecting one or more gases selected from argon, oxygen and nitrogen into the furnace, thereby glow discharging the gases so that various colors are coated on the surface of syringe needle at the same time, wherein the syringe needle is multilayer coated in color of gold or silver. The syringe needle is characterized in that the surface of the syringe needle and the surface of penetration hole of the syringe needle are glow discharge coated by the method.
