<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card capable of being easily cut, being satisfactorily printed, increasing a bending durability, and providing an excellent printer portability. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing an IC card, a first sheet material 1 and a second sheet material 2 are stuck to each other through an IC module in adhesive agent layers 6 and 7. The method comprises a printing step and a transfer step by a card printer having at least one of the steps of printing, image transfer, and hard foil transfer. A card rigidity value is made decreased before and after passing through the card printer to prevent the card itself from becoming fragile and easy to crack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
