<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a mapping table for converting the image photographed with a real camera into an image viewed from a virtual point of view with a little arithmetic operation quantity. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with: an image pickup means 10 for picking up a real image; a coordinate recording means 32 for recording a three- dimensional position on a projection model corresponding to the preliminarily calculated pixel position of a virtual camera; a means for deriving a positional relation between the virtual camera and the image pickup means 10; means 20 and 31 for preparing and recording a mapping table for converting the real image into an image viewed from the virtual camera from the information of the positional relation and the information of the three-dimensional position recorded in the coordinate recording means 32; and a means 40 for mapping the real image by using the mapping table. When the set position of the image pickup means 10 is decided in advance, the means for deriving the positional relation predicts the positional relation from the set position, and inputs the resultant positional relation to the means 20 for preparing the mapping table as a camera parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
