APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING OPTICAL PATH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a path in the shortest period of time including a period of time for securing resources by setting the path between routers in consideration of the congestion condition of the path (the free condition of an optical wavelength) of the path.

SOLUTION: When the path is set between the routers, not only the shortest route but also a plurality of paths are calculated. As for each of a plurality of the paths, a waiting time of signaling is calculated and a path minimizing the waiting time of signaling is selected.
