ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING MATERIAL, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a uniform excellent electromagnetic wave shielding effect, by using a sheet-form electromagnetic wave shielding material having added and dispersed flaky metal grains into a polymer resin, and by improving the dispersibility of the metal grains. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding material comprises an electromagnetic wave shielding layer so provided on a base material as to disperse at least the flaky metal grains in a polymer thin film and orient their arrangement directions to the planar direction of the base material. The manufacturing method of the electromagnetic wave shielding material comprises a process for applying or printing to the surface of the base material polymer paint having the dispersed flaky metal grains and a process for so processing pressingly a sheet whereto the polymer paint having the dispersed flaky metal grains is applied or printed as to orient the flaky metal grains to the planar direction of the base material in the electromagnetic wave shielding layer.
