<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for managing multicast subscribers in a mobile network in order to improve the use efficiency of system resources. <P>SOLUTION: Data related with multicast traffic are classified into multicast- related record data and multicast route data, wherein the multicast-related record data are stored in a system for query, while the multicast route data is hierarchically stored in the system to determine how to forward multicast data (1). When a subscriber joins in a multicast group or the multicast subscriber exits the multicast group (2), the hierarchical multicast route data and the multicast-related record data are modified accordingly (3).
