PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the coexistence of a plurality of ultra wide band (UWB) radio communication networks with different signaling systems. SOLUTION: A common beacon signal and the format of a portion of control commands are stipulated between a plurality of ultra wide band radio communication networks that adopt signaling systems different in an impulse period, impulse width, a spreading rate and a spreading code. In the case of receiving a beacon signal from another ultra wide band radio communication network, a transmission parameter used in the opposite network is grasped from the beacon signal, and a transmission frame period is subjected to time division between the opposite network and a self-system.
