PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated circuit board which can be electrically connected coping with a highly dense and highly minute structure and an electrode surface can be rustproofed, and to provide a method for connecting the electrode and a connecting structure of the electrode using the same. SOLUTION: The surface treated circuit board comprises an insulator and an electrode in which a polyphthalide represented by a formula (1) is formed on at least the surface of the electrode. The method for connecting the electrode comprises steps of facing the electrode of the board formed with the polyphthalide to the electrode of the other electronic component so that at least one of an antagonismic electrode is projected from a main surface, and fixing both the electrodes by pressurizing.
