<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band assignment circuit which improves throughput when a sending band is suppressed by window control, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The band assignment circuit assigns a band to a connection for transmitting data outputted from a first device for transmitting the data, regulates the upper limit value of a data quantity which can be sent out, and controls a sending data quantity before transmittal confirmation from a second device receiving the data arrives. The band assignment circuit is characteristically provided with a band prediction means which specifies a turn around delay time in a data transmission route from the first device to the second device and which predicts that data of a band assigning object is to be inputted continuously without regard to the presence/absence of actual data input until at least the turnaround delay time passes since a time when the data of the band assigning object are inputted to the connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
