<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a routing line management device by which influence on a network is reduced by suppressing a retrieval time in the variation of a route thereby reducing a load applied to a system. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of routes to the same destination are registered by a plurality of REs 1, 2 and 3, an RS-CORE 4 registers a route retrieved by an RE of the highest priority as the best route to a tree dedicated to a best route, and registers a route retrieved by an RE of the next highest priority as the candidate of the best route with the best route in the storing area of the best route. Consequently, in the retrieval of the best route where route switching occurs, a route to be a best route next is already registered as the second best, time required for route retrieving processing can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
