<p>An apparatus and a method for processing handover in a mobile IP network are provided to perform re-authentication with regard to a mobile terminal during handover, thereby maintaining stabler security. A receiver receives a mobile IP registration request message for requesting ID and a password of the mobile terminal which performs handover among a plurality of mobile IP networks. A message generating unit(220) generates a mobile IP registration response message including the ID and password of the mobile terminal in response to the mobile IP registration request message. A transmission unit transmits the generated mobile IP registration response message to the mobile terminal.</p> |
