PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce much labor and high cost for forming a case, and to provide an advantageous construction method in a connecting method. SOLUTION: A capacitor comprises a cylindrical barrel part, a bottom part provided with a groove for fitting an end of the barrel part, a ceiling part for covering the other end side of the barrel part and a capacitor element provided inside the barrel part. In the capacitor and a power receiving and distributing equipment using the capacitor, a structure of an outer package case that forms the capacitor has a more solid structure and has low cost and excellent workability.
