<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel treatment device for preventing the deterioration of a reformed catalyst even at starting a fuel cell generation system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel treatment device for treating a reform material to be reformed into fuel gas mainly containing hydrogen comprises a reforming part 35 for reforming the reform material into the reformed gas mainly containing hydrogen, a reform material supply system 12 for supplying the reform material to the reforming part 35, a water vapor generation part 38 for supplying water vapor to the reforming part 35, a water supply system 14 for supplying water to the water vapor generation part 38, a timer 18 to be actuated by the water supply system 14 starting the supply of the water to the water vapor generation part 38, and a first controller 71 for controlling the reform material supply system 12 to start the supply of the reform material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
