PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of changing the array of a plurality of vibration units corresponding to a mechanical scanning range. SOLUTION: A scanning mechanism 10 and a movable part 8 are provided inside a case 7 and the movable part 8 is provided with a first movable body 12 and a second movable body 14. Their angle interval is increased/decreased by a varying mechanism 24. The varying mechanism 24 has a slider provided over two arm members 17 and 19, and by vertically moving the slider, the angle interval of two array vibrators 20 and 22 is freely varied.
