<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and its display control method for quickly starting the display of a display image with a 3D image as an element image by reducing any time-lag due to an initial load. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device and its display control method for plotting a 3D image in a plotting buffer according to a scenario specifying a display development story, and for reading the image of a rectangular area including the plotted 3D image as a 2D image, and for disposing the image corresponding to a display picture, and for preparing a display image having the 3D image as an element image, which changes synchronously with the picture switching period of the display picture according to the scenario to display it at the display picture, the 3D image data are provided with preceding 2D image data expressing 2D images appearing on the prescribed number of pictures from the leading of the appearing pictures as the preceding 2D images, and the preceding 2D images are disposed at the display buffer based on the prescribed number of preceding 2D image data on the prescribed number of pictures from the leading. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
