PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which enables exquisite printing to be realized at a low cost for more aesthetic appearance and conceals absorbed bodily waste. SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes an absorber, and a print sheet of leaf on which printing with aqueous ink is provided between a surface sheet 3 and the absorber so that the printing on the print sheet could be visible from an outer surface of the absorbent article. The leaf has high density of fiber, a smooth surface, and less deformation by heat when processed. A volume of the leaf could be reduced, and a transparency thereof could be improved when liquid is absorbed thereby. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
