PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body support part of a chair, capable of simplifying the structure without requiring a cushion or an exclusive link mechanism by adopting unprecedented innovative technological ideas of three-dimensionally deforming a shell itself in the shape of a concave or convex. SOLUTION: The body support part comprises a lumbar support area operating device L to deform a lumbar support area LA in the shape of a convex by deforming a lumbar support part L1 disposed in the lumbar support area LA of the backrest shell BS; and a back support area operating device B to deform a back support area BA in the shape of a concave by deforming a back support part B1 disposed in the back support area BA of the backrest shell BS.
