PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformable area operating device which has simplified structure and can adjust the deformation amount of a deformable area steplessly. SOLUTION: The deformable area operating device includes: a deformable back support part B1 disposed in a back support area BA; a pair of back support backup bodies B21 and B22 which are disposed behind the back support part B1 and in which one end part of them respectively is bonded to two parts separated from each other in the back support part B1 and the other end parts are free ends B21a and B22a made to roughly face each other; and a back support driving mechanism B3 which is provided with a freely expandable and contractible fluid bag B31 for back support interposed between the back support part B1 and the pair of back support backup bodies B21 and B22 and which increases a separation distance between the free ends B21a and B22a of the respective back support backup bodies B21 and B22 accompanying the expanding operation of the fluid bag B31 for the back support and moves the bonded parts BP1 and BP2 of the respective back support backup bodies B21 and B22 in the back support part B1 relatively to the front more than the part between the bonded parts BP1 and BP2.
