PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for disposing a coil of a transformer capable of fully removing PCB of a coil which is taken out by dismantling used transformers, etc., with its copper wire reusable. SOLUTION: There are provided a coil cleaning process S1 where the coil taken out by dismantling a transformer is cleaned with a carbon hydride detergent, a crushing process S2 where the coil cleaned in the coil cleaning process S1 is crushed, a discrimination process S3 where crushed bodies obtained by crushing the coil in the crushing process S2 are discriminated into copper wires and non-metals, and a copper wire cleaning process S4 where the copper wire discriminated in the discrimination process S3 is cleaned with the carbon hydride detergent.
