A method to optimize rearing species of the genus Trichogramma includes the laboratory regime of growing Trichogramma, in particular populations of the Trichogramma dendrolimi Mats., after rebirth of daughter generations, the females are fed with a diet as an aqueous solution of 5% honey in a mixture with a 0.02-0.04% solution of native deoxyribonucleic acid. In addition, the eggs of the flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella Z.), not elder than 35 hrs, are proposed to the females of the Trichogramma, once they are fed, for infecting. The eggs of the the flour moth preliminary irradiated with ultraviolet rays with an exposition of 18-20 minutes. |
