<p>The invention provides bleach catalysts and bleaching compositions which exhibit a satisfactory bleaching effect even at low temperature, are reduced in the decoloring of dye and the damage to fiber, and are excellent in the effect of inhibiting the color migration between fabrics. The invention relates to cycloamide-transition metal complexes (1); bleach catalysts consisting of the same; and bleaching compositions each containing a bleach catalyst described above and a peroxy bleaching agent selected from among hydrogen peroxide, peroxides capable of generating hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solutions and organic peroxy acids: (1) wherein R1 to R6 are each H, a C1-16 hydrocarbon or perfluoroalkyl group, or halogeno; R7 is a C1-18 alkylene or perfluoroalkylene group; A is a group having 1 to 3 quaternary ammonium groups which are substituted with alkyl or connected by alkylene, heteroaromatic quaternary cationic group, or the like; M is a transition metal; L is a ligand; and Q is a counter ion.</p> |
