<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform sharpness processing for image data obtained by a digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: For the image data obtained through photography of the digital camera, an appendant information analyzing means 15 analyzes tag information as appendant information of the image data and an image data analyzing means 20 analyzes the image data. A scene judging means 25 judges the kind of the image data according to the analysis results of the appendant information analyzing means 15 and image data analyzing means 20. A sharpness processing system selecting means 30 selects a system for sharpness processing according to the judged kind of the image data and a parameter determining means 35 determines a parameter of the sharpness processing according to the judged kind of the image data. A processing executing means 40 performs the sharpness processing for the corresponding image data by the system selected by the sharpness processing system selecting means 30 with the parameter determined by the parameter determining means 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
